Swoozie Ramblings

Home! Finally! I thought we would never get here. I have to admit the mountains in Arizona and New Mexico are amazing. Not amazing enough to keep me awake, though. J. was a real trooper and he drove the whole way. I slept most of the time. Driving long distances wears me out (ha!).

Anyway, we did stop by the Hoover Dam and it was huge! Having only seen pictures I never imagined the enormity of the dam. I just had to make a little journey into the gift shop for a Hoover Dam charm for my charm bracelet and a Cactus Valley Ranch kit. It comes with everything I need to grow my own cacti. Given my black thumb, I hope the little suckers are tough to kill.
