Today is my mom's birthday! On the off chance she ever sees this I wanted to say Happy Birthday, Mom!
The school day went by pretty quickly. We went to an assembly where we were able to listen to a jazz band play. The children were mesmerized as the band played themes from The Flintstones, The Pink Panther, along with blues, and Big Band. Later one of the representatives came to our room and did a little workshop with the kids. He played several solos and showed the children several types of horns which I had never seen before.
After school I had to go to my second Multimedia class. I don't know if I am going to make it or not. Director seems like a very daunting program to learn in four weeks. I know you can import a Power Point presentation into Director but I don't know if I will be able to incorporate all the elements I need for an 'A' for this project. I feel very lost.
My mom sent my Valentine's Day present-a silver heart bracelet and some Mary Kay Intensity Controller lipstick (which is supposed to tone down the color of lipstick you wear but I wear it by itself). Doesn't quite seem right that on my mother's birthday I get a present from her. My family has always celebrated every holiday. Pretty much if Hallmark makes a card for it, we are all over it. When my father was alive he would join in the fun.
