We decided to ride up to the in-laws lake houses (that is plural, makes me sick, too). Instead of relaxing, we spent the majority of our time installing flooring and trim. We did manage to take the boat out for a while. Makes me realize that we really need a boat. I'd settle for one lake house, though.
The neighbors have a really cool chocolate lab named Maggie. She chases chipmunks and isn't very nice to them when she catches them. Evidently there are a lot of chipmunks in that area. They say you have to get up really early to see them. Getting up early isn't my idea of fun. Well, not to see Alvin, Simon, or Theodore, anyway.
