Swoozie Ramblings

The weekend went by far too quickly. Saturday I attended Sewing Class and Embroidery Class (back to back). I feel a little more confident with the machine now. Before the class, I couldn't even thread the machine correctly. I guess I'm not used to the self threading mechanism. It is kind of tricky. The teacher is wonderfully patient and knowledgeable. I embroidered a line of pigs but they are marching uphill. I'll have to work on keeping the material straight. Working with the hoops is much more fun since the material stays in one place and the machine does all the work.

Next month they are offering a Machine Applique Class that I am looking forward to. The same teacher will be teaching it so I know I'll learn something.
